# Edit Scenario (Inject Designer)

> Use the inject designer to add and refine injects, polls, and narrative details that drive your Custom Quest tabletop exercise scenario.

**Edit Scenario** is the full-screen **inject designer** for the scenario you selected. The standard wizard footer is hidden so you have more room to work.

## What You Can Do

* Edit **injects** — timing, content, and structure of each beat in the exercise.
* **Reorder injects** to change the sequence in which they appear during the exercise.
* Configure **polls** and options where the scenario supports audience or facilitator interactions.
* Use **assistant features** in the designer (where enabled) to suggest or refine inject content.

## Sorting Injects

The inject list supports reordering so you can change the flow of the exercise without rewriting content. Use this when you want to shift the pacing, move a high-impact beat earlier, or group related injects together.

To reorder an inject, drag it to the new position in the list. The new order is saved automatically and reflected in the run, dry run, and exported scenario.

<Warning>
  You must have **Admin** or **Owner** role permissions to edit quests.
</Warning>

## Navigation and Exit

The header **back** control returns you to **Select Scenario** without losing your place in the wizard. The sidebar is often hidden on this step. **Save and exit** saves and sends you to **Run**, the same destination as from the Quest Lobby.

## Saving

Changes follow the same **autosave** behavior as other steps when you move with the portal controls. Keep your quest name valid so drafts can persist.
