# Quest Kind: Naming and Structuring Exercises

> Name your quest and choose how the tabletop exercise is structured during the first step of the Custom Quest builder, including format and pacing.

The **Quest Kind** step sets **Quest Name** and how the exercise is structured. The product may add more structure choices over time.

## Quest Name

The name is **required** before you can move forward or persist a draft. It must be **unique** in your workspace; if it is taken, you will see an error under the field.

## Quest Type

Choose the structure that matches what you are building. The UI shows what is available today.

Complete this step, then continue to **Organization Profile** using the footer or sidebar.
