The Knowledge Base is a document repository that allows you to upload and manage documents that enhance your tabletop exercise reports. Documents are processed and used to provide additional insights and gap analysis.
You must have Admin or Owner role permissions to access the Knowledge Base. View-only users cannot access or manage the Knowledge Base.

Knowledge Base Dashboard

The dashboard displays:
  • Document Inventory (left) – All uploaded documents in a table showing type, title, date added, and who uploaded it
  • Content Library (right) – Available content modules and their status (active or disabled)

Uploading Documents

Click the Upload button in the top-right corner, select the document type (e.g., IR Plan), and choose your file. The document will be processed and added to your inventory.
Documents must be uploaded before running a tabletop exercise to enable gap analysis. Uploading documents after an exercise has been processed will not retroactively analyze that exercise.

Supported Document Types

  • IR Plan – Incident Response plans that enable gap analysis during tabletop exercises

Content Modules

When you upload the required documents, content modules become active:
  • IR Plan Gap Analysis – Analyzes exercises against your IR plan to identify gaps in roles, escalation, communications, training, and playbooks
See IR Plan Gaps for more information about this module.

Permissions

  • Account Owners – Full access to upload, view, and manage all documents
  • Admins – Full access to upload, view, and manage all documents
  • View-only users – Cannot access the Knowledge Base
